A classic, but still very popular. We love this recipe for Tuna Casserole. It is an easy to prepare, one dish meal combining protein, vegetables and dairy. The ingredients can be combined, refrigerated and baked later in the day. Ingredients: 1 or 2 cans tuna in water – drained and flaked Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together and place into a 9 x 13–inch casserole dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes or until bubbly. For a creamer version, substitute 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup mayonnaise for the 8-ounces of milk. To add a touch of "spice", add 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard such as Coleman's. Additional dried onions and cheese can be placed on top of the casserole prior to baking. Top with potato chips or substitute crunchy Chinese noodles for onion rings Yield: Serves 6, Double or Triple if desired *we use Walmart Great Value Brand Cream of Mushroom Soup, OU kosher, dairy Recipes: Dairy Dishes, Casserole, Tuna, Cheese, Kosher |
